Mosaic for Mother's Day

Me and my class learned how to tile mosaics for mother's day. We learned how to break tiles without getting hurt, and learned how to apply grout on the the mosaic. If you look at the picture carefully, I have patterns all over my mosaic. All mosaic arts have patterns and have variety of colours so it makes the art look more interesting, and cool. I think I did a good job of creating this art for a first-timer and I hope I have a chance to do this again. I hope you like it!

Please get rid of the 'TWEET' and 'LIKE' icons that you have below your reflections. Also, please review the video that was posted over the weekend and write a little more in your reflection by referring to the elements of art/design! :)

I really like how you the repeating pattern you chose to use in each of your quadrants! Also, you used a lot of bright colours which made your mirror quite vibrant!

I love the repeating pattern, but next time you may want to put black tile on each corner, instead of just 2. Overall, great job! :)

I think you did a great job when dealing with the patterns. I really liked how the colours stood out and caught my attention. I think you could have added more detail to the reflection. You can add things like how you have learned how to use thin set. Also, you could add how you use grout etc. Overall, I think you did an awesome job! (:

Your tile mosaic, looks very good. I could clearly see your patterns. I also think that for a first timer you did a very good job, and looking at this, I think that if you do it another time you will do an even better job. I know that you need different sizes of tiles, but I saw that some were very very tiny. But overall, awesome job! :)
