Oceanic-Continental Convergence
Oceanic-Continental Converage is when the oceanic crust and the continental crust crushes into each other. When an oceanic plate crashes with a continental plate, the oceanic plate is taken under the continental plate. This makes deep ocean trenches along the edge of a continent. Along the coast of British Coloumbia, this happens where the Juan de Fuca Plate is being taken under the North American Plate.
